Incoming Signal...

Hello all. I've decided, in the interest of healthy compartmentalization of life, to start this blog and express my most detailed, wordy, not-great-for-smalltalk type ideas and opinions within it.

You can expect to see music theoretical ramblings, political venting, speculations on scientific matters about which I'm wholly unqualified to speculate, and general opinions or rants.

Over time, this blog may develop a more focused purpose, but for now it's just very general, and that's okay.

School starts back for me on the 28th, so I'm probably gonna be primarily posting about music theory stuff, since I really need to get some microtonal investigating out of my system before I once again have academic obligations. If I'm being honest, my recreational music theory pursuits have kind of gotten in the way of my actual academic responsibilities as a music major, which is a little weird.

But yeah, expect a music theory post later tonight. Specifically about the pursuit of a Grand Unified Theory of Quartertone and Chromatic Harmony. Or something like that. :)
